Our Parent Company
With humble beginnings out of his basement office, Murad Al-Katib (CEO and President of AGT Foods) and his loyal team have worked tirelessly to promote and ramp up pulse exports from Canada. Years of growth, acquisitions, and transitions have made AGT a global success as one of the world’s largest suppliers of value-added pulses, staple foods, and food ingredients.
Having similarly humble beginnings, the founders and shareholders of MobilGrain met their synergistic match in the management team at AGT Foods. In 2015, our group of companies (called “Mobil Capital”) brought more collection sites and logistical solutions to the table, and the whole package was sold to AGT.
With management’s aligned visions and exceptional dedication, this collaboration has been a positive experience and has enabled further development on many fronts.
